Leonard & Bina Ellen Art Gallery, Concordia University
Concordia University’s Leonard & Bina Ellen Art Gallery focuses on the presentation and critical investigation of contemporary art and curatorial practice. The Gallery’s program of exhibitions, events, public discussions and publications focuses on contemporary art and on its recent history as it interfaces with various curatorial strategies. It interfaces with the communities, issues, tensions, projections and changes that constitute the society we live in.
All projects are the result of a specific curatorial approach. Our collaborators are from here and elsewhere. Public programs are an inherent part of projects or constitute autonomous projects and take the form of conversations, panel discussions, series of screenings and lectures, and include the participation of specialists from various disciplines.
